This pair of 7Y4 Philco tubes tested strong with no shorts on a Precision 10-12 tube tester. These test identical and appear to be NOS. The 7Y4 was originally designed as a full wave rectifier primarily for car radio applications. It was the rectifier in many American car radios in the 1930s and 1940s. If your vintage car radio needs one, this is a good deal at this price. Because, it comes with a spare and they are not making any new ones!
