These four 6AU4 tubes tested good with no shorts on a Precision 10-12 tube tester. The 6AU4 was originally designed as a damper tube for many early televisions. They turned out to be very rugged line rectifiers and found use in DIY audio amplifiers. Four tubes can form a full wave bridge rectifier or only two for a center tapped source. If you need one, this is a good deal at this price. For four, it’s a real deal. Because, they are not making any new ones!
